Top 10 Most Dangerous Cities in California!

California…the Golden State. The whole world dreams about moving west to enjoy the beautiful people and weather that California has provided since Mexico surrendered it in 1848. What many people don’t know is that California is a hotbed of criminal activity. Whats more crazy, is that LA county didn’t even make the top ten list, hell, it didn’t even make the top 20!

The crimes that most affect this beautiful region are what you would think with it being butted up next to the border of Mexico; Drugs. 5 of the worst cities are actually located in northern California which came as a surprise to me.

Not so shocking is the inland empire, which takes up a few top spots as well. Seems that when people are in remote or undesirable locations, they tend to hit the crack pipe more than the coastal towns, except for Santa Cruz, which is just a mess. It’s sad to see an area so filled with beauty be filled with so many meth head losers. Come on Nor Cal…get your act together!

Oakland. This place straight up sucks. It’s so bad that their dumb football team doesnt even want to stay there anymore. Located in the “Bay Area,” Oakland collects the broke, the crooked and the thugs of northern California like no other city. If you wander down the wrong block, you will get rolled. Stay Away.

I know that the “per capita” thing may seem to skew the numbers but that just shows that these small towns are no joke when it comes to the same big city problems of drugs and drug related crime. I guess the grass isn’t always greener.

It pains me to add this one to the list. It’s such a beautiful stretch of coastline but also home to an insane meth problem. The college kids who to to school there have to blend in with the dregs of the community and that makes Santa Cruz a rough spot.

Who knew that Californias hippy commune was also one of its worst cities? Maybe it’s because of all the acid dropping delinquents that dabble in drugs and theft? Yeah, pretty sure thats the cause.

So again…if California was a body and Stockton is the armpit, then this is Californias A-hole. The central Valley is where most of the West Coast gets its fruit and vegetables. You know what else is in that valley? Meth addicted cowboys and thugs. Seriously, once you drop into the valley all you see is clouds of dust and the smells of crap. This is the worst part of California…stay away!

If you ever leave or come to southern California, you have to drive through this stretch of hot, stinky wasteland, AKA El Centro. Its where the desert meets the mountains that let you ¬†into gods country also known as San Diego county. The smell of desperation is in the air as immigrants and white supremacist druggies battle to be king of the desert. Don’t break down here or you will go missing.

Note: We use a standard computational formula to calculate our crime rates. This same formula is used by various state government criminal justice departments to calculate crime rate.

VIOLENT CRIMES + PROPERTY CRIMES = TOTAL REPORTED CRIMES

TOTAL REPORTED CRIMES / POPULATION * 1000 = CRIME RATE
